Enterprise Data Archivist Role

This is a key position that involves ensuring the efficient operation of data archival processes across the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Server Administration: Add/remove authorization to file servers, handle annual access audits, monitor Windows file servers, and troubleshoot issues related to authorization and file servers.
  • Divestment Management: Extract and transfer archived data to buyers, create quality documentations on maintenance activities, and ensure seamless transitions.
  • Software Management: Install Enterprise Scan and WinViewer applications, install new patches, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance.
  • SAP Data Archiving Operations: Activate/deactivate archive infrastructure, run catch-up archiving, and perform sweeper tasks for existing archive objects.
  • Reporting Responsibility: Attend Agile ceremonies, update work items in ADO boards, and collaborate with other teams to ensure timely issue resolution.
Requirements/Deliverables:
  • Delivering effective incident and problem management solutions during peak periods.
  • Ensuring adherence to Service Level Agreements (SLAs) during peak periods.
  • Delivering successful and error-free SAP Maintenance activities according to Upgrade Schedule during peak periods.
  • Completing assigned ADO User Stories prioritized by the Product Owner during peak periods.
  • Providing high-quality documentation using OneNote related to lessons learned, undocumented problem solutions, and new configurations.
Education and Experience Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in SAP Data Archival, Server Administration, and Software Management.
