Job Title:

  • High-Performance Backend Engineer

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled backend engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of high-performance APIs, real-time services, and partner integrations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement high-performance APIs for instant sends, swaps, and approvals.
  • Own backend integrations with partner companies.
  • Design and maintain a reliable ledger and state machine for money movement.
  • Implement a policy engine for approvals, caps, timelocks, and joint accounts.
  • E nsure performance, reliability, and observability across production systems.

Requirements:

  • 5+ Years of Experience: Building backend systems at scale.
  • Technical Skills: Strong skills in TypeScript/Node, Go, Rust, or Kotlin, async I/O, queues, retries, state machines, database expertise (Postgres, Redis) and modeling for consistency.
  • Ownership and System Management: Track record of owning systems end-to-end from design to production.

Bonus Requirements:

  • Crypto Custody/MPC Experience: Experience with crypto custody/MPC, Bitcoin UTXOs, or fintech/payment systems.
