We are seeking a qualified Psychologist to join our team in a prestigious academic institution in West Bengal.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide overnight mental health support on a rotational basis, ensuring students receive timely assistance when needed.
  • Conduct in-person counseling sessions in student hostels, maintaining confidentiality and adhering to strict ethical standards.
  • Facilitate walk-in sessions and manage student appointments through our online portal, promoting accessibility and convenience.
  • Undertake regular floor walks in hostels to build trust, visibility, and rapport with students, enhancing the overall student experience.
  • Maintain accurate and timely case notes, records, and reports, upholding the highest standards of professionalism and confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with our team to develop and implement awareness drives, workshops, and well-being campaigns across campus, promoting a culture of mental wellness and inclusivity.

Requirements:

  • A Master's degree in Clinical Psychology or Counseling Psychology is mandatory, demonstrating your expertise in the field.
  • 1-8 years of experience in working with youth/academic mental health, or a strong interest in pursuing a career in this area.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, enabling you to engage with students in a compassionate, approachable manner, building trust and rapport.
  • Comfortable with flexible working hours, including night shifts, demonstrating your ability to adapt to changing situations.
  • Fluent in English, with knowledge of Hindi and Bengali (if applicable), facilitating effective communication with students from diverse backgrounds.
  • Willingness to stay on campus, ensuring your availability to students at all times.
