Your role will also involve developing and maintaining a strong culture of engineering innovation within the team.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage a team of engineers to ensure the delivery of technical initiatives through design to agile development phases.

- Collaborate with Product Management to evaluate engineering requirements and design proposals in a technical capacity.

- Evaluate and develop the technical performance of individual contributors within the team.

- Effectively collaborate with other teams across the organization to meet release expectations.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest frameworks in the industry and influence decisions related to the Client's SaaS application stack.

Requirements:

- 10+ years of professional software development experience, including substantial implementation expertise using Java/Node.JS/Golang.

- 4+ years of direct people management experience in a techno-managerial capacity.

- Strong ability to write and evaluate code.

- Strong track record of delivering complex projects on time.

- Any certifications: PMI or Scrum.

- Expert scrum master and Agile practitioner.

- Demonstrated ability to lead teams of highly skilled developers.

- Extensive prior work with cloud-based SaaS platforms and broad experience developing high-throughput backend systems, microservices, and API layers.

- Working experience in Spring, Spring Boot, or related Java frameworks, RESTful API design and development, and event-driven architecture.

- Knowledge of distributed systems and proficiency working in a Linux environment.

- Strong software development fundamentals, architecture, algorithms, and problem-solving skills.

- Deep understanding of observability concepts and tooling.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Experience with Amazon AWS services and CICD.

- Understanding of distributed systems, asynchrony, and message-based architectures.

- Experience working with HTML/CSS React/Angular frameworks.

- Experience with NoSQL databases like MongoDB.

- Experience working in a load-balanced, large, stateless microservices environment.

Education:

- Bachelor/Masters in Computer Science or a related field
