Role Overview:

As a Senior Software Engineer at Commonwealth Bank, you will be part of the Enterprise Services team responsible for delivering innovative technology solutions across the organization. Your primary focus will be on expanding Pega capabilities in the Everyday banking India team, ensuring the successful delivery of projects and initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage relationships and communications with project stakeholders, including customers and delivery teams
  • Structure project teams for success, incorporating required skills from within the Group and sourcing resources from delivery partner organizations
  • Manage relationships with vendors and third-party suppliers
  • Undertake tasks assigned by your manager, performing safely in line with internal Bank policies and external regulatory requirements
  • Develop and maintain relationships to have a line of sight to, and understanding of, all ongoing and emerging projects and initiatives
  • Champion thought leadership for process architecture and develop options for improving and updating current capability
  • Act as an escalation point, advice, and decision-making point for Pega Case Management
  • Provide decision transparency to direct manager and Architecture LT to facilitate an open culture of self-governance
  • Review and contribute to reference architecture and Platform initiatives impacting or involving Pega
  • Act as a role model by displaying leadership behavior encouraging productive working relationships and a strong performance culture, as well as an open, creative, and innovative approach to the case management platform
  • Monitor emerging technologies, industry developments, directions, and best practices
  • Enforce best practices in PEGA architecture/design/coding

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in building Pega applications
  • Experience in designing and developing Pega BPM applications using Pega .
  • Experience with process methodology, development methodologies (Agile, SDLC, Iterative) strongly preferred
  • Excellent object-oriented analysis and design skills and system integration skill
  • Excellent track record of delivery within large projects
  • Excellent executive communication & presentation
  • Experience designing and developing process-based solutions or BPM (business process management)
  • Experience in various rules and features like Flows, Activities, User Interface, Flow Actions, Agents, SLA, Correspondence, SingleSignOn, External Authentication, PRPC Security, Reports, Listeners (File, MQ), Connectors and SOAP Services etc
  • Certified Senior System Architect (CSSA)
  • Bachelor's degree/Master's degree in Engineering in Computer Science/Information Technology
  • CLSA Pega certification nice to have
