Electrical Design Engineer Job

This is an exciting opportunity to work as an Electrical Design Engineer where you will be responsible for managing various electrical design activities in data-center or industrial projects.

  • Design of Building Management System (BMS), Chiller Plant Automation, Fire Detection, Public Address, Telecom, and Security Systems for Data Centers or Industrial Projects.
  • You will have the responsibility of conceptualizing design at the preliminary stage by understanding project requirements following relevant codes & standards.

Your key strength includes selecting the best-suited instruments or devices and their specifications for building automation, fire alarm, and security system designs.

  • Familiarity with Data Center Master Plan, Concept, Schematics.
  • Understanding of TIA-942-B Standard for Data Centers.
  • Experience with Indian and International codes for design.

Your primary role includes:

  • Interdisciplinary coordination.
  • Preparation and review of Basis of Design.
  • BMS IO summary, Sequence of Operations for various systems, Cause & Effect Matrix for Fire Alarm Systems.

Your tasks include preparing tender documents with relevant design, technical specifications, material requisition, data sheets, and BOQ as per requirement.

  • Tender documents preparation.
  • Review of Technical Data Sheets and Shop Drawings submitted by vendors/contractors.

Evaluating and performing design reviews and participating in team meetings to ensure timely deliverables is crucial for this role.

Skill Requirements

  • Self-driven individual with good management and reporting capabilities.
  • Proficiency in 3D engineering and reviewing 3D models using Navisworks is mandatory.
  • Knowledge of ELV codes and standards is essential.
  • Knowledge of IS / IEC standards.
