Job Title: Revenue Manager for Hotel Operations

About the Role:

The Hosteller Hospitality Pvt Ltd. is seeking a highly skilled Revenue Manager to join our team and contribute to the success of our hotel operations. As a Revenue Manager, you will be responsible for developing and implementing effective revenue management strategies to achieve revenue goals. Your primary focus will be on analyzing market trends, demand patterns, and competitive set data to make informed pricing decisions. You will also be responsible for managing room inventory and distribution channels to optimize occupancy and ADRs. Additionally, you will create and maintain accurate demand forecasts to support revenue planning and conduct regular competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify market opportunities and threats.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective revenue management strategies to achieve revenue goals.
  • Analyze market trends, demand patterns, and competitive set data to make informed pricing decisions.
  • Manage room inventory and distribution channels to optimize occupancy and ADRs.
  • Create and maintain accurate demand forecasts to support revenue planning.
  • Conduct regular competitive analysis and benchmarking to identify market opportunities and threats.
  • Set pricing strategies for various room types, packages, and promotional offers.
  • Monitor and adjust rates daily, weekly, and seasonally based on demand and market conditions.
  • Optimize the distribution mix by managing relationships with online travel agencies (OTAs), global distribution systems (GDS), and direct booking channels.
  • Evaluate and negotiate contracts with distribution partners to minimize costs.
  • Understand and report regularly on revenue performance, including RevPAR, occupancy, ADR, and market share.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Hospitality management, Business or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of proven experience in hotel revenue management.
  • Proficiency in revenue management software and tools (e.g., RMS, PMS, GDS, IDS, etc).
  • Strong analytical and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Knowledge of market trends and competitive landscape in the hotel industry.
