Lead Scalable Python Development

The primary responsibility of the Tech Lead is to oversee the entire process of designing, developing, and deploying scalable Python-based applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement solutions using MongoDB, Redis, FastAPI, and containerization tools such as Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate React-based frontends and backend services.
  • Work with data platforms including Impala for high-performance querying and Autosys for job scheduling.
  • Ensure code quality, performance, and security standards across all development efforts.
  • Mentor and manage a team of developers, fostering a culture of innovation and accountability.
  • Drive agile development practices and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD).
  • Liaise with stakeholders from banking operations, risk, and compliance to align technical solutions with business needs.

Requirements:

  • 15+ years of total experience with 10+ years of hands-on experience in advanced Python development and design patterns.
  • Strong experience in MongoDB, Redis, FastAPI, and containerization.
  • Solid understanding of React Framework and frontend-backend integration.
  • Familiarity with Impala, Autosys, and distributed systems.
  • Proven leadership in managing mid-sized engineering teams.
  • Prior experience in the banking or financial services domain is mandatory.
