Job Title: Senior Data Annotation Lead

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Data Annotation Lead to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading a team of annotators, developing project plans, and ensuring timely and accurate delivery of annotated LiDAR data.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of annotators (minimum of 20) to ensure timely and accurate delivery of annotated LiDAR data.

  • Develop project plans, set milestones, and monitor progress to ensure deadlines are met.

  • Annotation Quality Assurance:

    Define annotation guidelines and standards for cuboid and polygon annotation.

    Conduct quality checks and audits to ensure annotations meet accuracy and consistency requirements.

  • Team Supervision and Training:

    Provide guidance, mentorship, and supervision to annotation team members.

    Train new team members on annotation techniques, tools, and project-specific requirements.

  • Tool and Workflow Optimization:

    Evaluate and implement annotation tools and software to improve efficiency and accuracy.

    Develop and refine annotation workflows to streamline processes and maximize productivity.

  • Communication and Collaboration:

    Liaise with project stakeholders (e.g., clients, project managers) to understand requirements and expectations.

    Communicate project updates, challenges, and solutions effectively to ensure transparency and alignment.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in a leadership role within IT services.

  • Prior experience in LiDAR data annotation/CV projects, particularly with 3D, 2D BB and polygon annotation, is preferable.

  • Experience in a leadership or supervisory role is preferred.

  • Prior experience in a client-facing role managing multiple projects simultaneously is highly preferred.

  • Education Qualification: Minimum Graduate

Technical Skills:

  • Proficiency in LiDAR data processing tools and annotation software (e.g., Labelbox, Cubemos) is required.

  • Knowledge of 3D point cloud data formats and understanding of geometric shapes (cuboids, polygons) is beneficial.
