Financial Reporting Specialist Role

The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing monthly closes, preparing management reports and investor-ready financial statements. In this role, you will manage both fund-level and portfolio-level reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the preparation of consolidated financial statements in accordance with U.S. GAAP and ensure timely submission to stakeholders.
  • Develop and implement financial reporting templates that enhance transparency and improve decision-making across multiple industries.
  • Collaborate with senior accountants, CPAs, and partners to deliver high-quality financial information while maintaining strong relationships.
  • Provide analytical support to CFOs and finance leads on financial planning and budgeting, identifying areas of cost savings and process improvements.
  • Ensure accurate and reliable data by reviewing financials from 1–5 portfolio companies and flagging variances.
  • Prepare tax returns, filings, and other regulatory documents in compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in fund accounting with a strong understanding of U.S. GAAP and multi-entity consolidations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Proficiency with QuickBooks or other accounting platforms with the ability to learn new software quickly.
  • CPA certification preferred but not required.
