Industrial Automation Expert

We're looking for a skilled professional to join our team as an Industrial Automation Expert. This role involves designing and implementing smart AI + sensor systems that can operate effectively in various factory environments.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with sensors, automation, and machine vision. They should be proficient in laser triangulation, ultrasonic NDT, and machine vision systems. Additionally, they should be able to design practical mechanical setups and have a good understanding of Python/OpenCV/DAQ basics and PLC connections.

This is a part-time opportunity, requiring approximately 20 hours of work per week. The ideal candidate should be based in India, with flexibility to travel for deployments as needed.

As an Industrial Automation Expert at our company, you will play a crucial role in bringing Industry 4.0 to life in factories that need it most. You will work on real-world problems with immediate factory impact, contributing to the growth and development of our organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Designing and implementing smart AI + sensor systems for factory environments.
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project outcomes.
  • Maintaining a strong understanding of industry trends and technologies to drive innovation.
  • Providing technical support and training to colleagues and customers as needed.
Requirements:
  • 3+ years of experience in sensors, automation, or machine vision.
  • Knowledge of laser triangulation, ultrasonic NDT, or machine vision systems.
  • Ability to design practical mechanical setups (mounts, fixtures, enclosures).
  • Comfortable with Python/OpenCV/DAQ basics and PLC connections.
  • Willingness to get hands dirty in high-heat/industrial environments.
  • Based in India, with flexibility to travel for deployments.
  • Availability ~20 hrs/week (flexible schedule).
