Software Repository Manager

This role involves overseeing the maintenance and integrity of a software repository. Responsibilities include updating, upgrading, and patching the repository as needed.

Key requirements for this position include expertise in Linux and scripting languages such as bash, C, and Python. Proficiency in programming languages is also essential. The ideal candidate will have a good understanding of compiling and creating software from source code, as well as knowledge of build system tools like autotools, meson, ninja, cmake, make, pkg-config, and scons.

The successful candidate will possess excellent troubleshooting skills and be able to review changes, maintain changelogs and documentation, provide bug fixes, and debug using gdb when necessary. Familiarity with version control systems like CVS and Git is also required.

Knowledge of specific Linux distributions, while desirable, is not mandatory. However, candidates with experience in Red Hat or Debian distributions will still be considered.

Strong English language skills are essential, both verbally and in writing. The ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team is also crucial. Key performance indicators for this role include resolving assigned tasks within specified timeframes and deadlines.

Applicants should have at least 0-2 years of experience in a related field and be willing to sign a legal agreement that includes a non-disclosure agreement (NDA) and non-compete clause (NCA).
