Senior Design Leader

About the Role:

We're seeking an exceptional Senior Design Leader to join our team and lead the scale of our design operation from India. This is a unique opportunity to drive design quality, craft, and practice, while evolving our service offering and value propositions to clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the growth and development of our design team in India, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge needed to deliver high-quality work.
  • Develop and implement strategies to enhance our design capabilities, driving innovation and excellence across all aspects of our business.
  • Cultivate relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and internal teams, to ensure seamless collaboration and communication.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior designers, helping them develop their skills and advance in their careers.
  • Pursue opportunities to apply strategic thinking and creative craft to solve challenges for our clients, leveraging our scale and quality of design expertise.

Qualifications and Requirements:

  • A minimum of 15 years of relevant industry experience, with 7+ years of leadership/management experience of teams of 50+ designers.
  • A background in the agency world or running large-scale teams for startups and organizations in-house.
  • Extensive knowledge and experience with driving and applying user-centered design processes, working collaboratively with customers and cross-functional teams.
  • Mastery in Product Design, Service Design, User Research, demonstrated through a portfolio of outstanding work performed by teams led and directed by you.
  • Proven experience building aligned connections both regionally and globally as a respected leader in the design community.
  • Highly proactive with outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, great presentation skills, and ability to engage with C-suite clients.
