Assembler Product Developer for BMC Software

Key Responsibilities and Requirements

As a talented Assembler Product Developer, you will contribute to the Development team responsible for developing and debugging of software products. You will participate in architecture and design reviews, work on complex problems, and interact with other BMC products.

Contribute to Software Development and Debugging

  • Develop and debug software products, implementing features and ensuring product quality.
  • Participate in architecture and design reviews to ensure alignment with company goals.
  • Work with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software products.

Essential Skills and Experience

  • 6+ years of experience in MVS HLASM programming language and the ability to create macros.
  • Proficiency in JCL and dump analysis.
  • Familiarization with DevOps tools and concepts such as Jenkins.
  • Experience with modern version control systems such as Git.

Preferred Skills and Experience

  • Cloud object storage and associated technologies.
  • Working knowledge of Cloud Object storage / REXX and DB2.
  • Culture of innovation and collaboration.
