About this role

We're seeking a seasoned Backend Developer to join our team.

  • The ideal candidate will design scalable APIs, integrate structured data with AI models, and ensure our platform remains secure and reliable as we grow.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and maintain backend services and APIs for core objects (contacts, companies, deals, groups).
  • Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) with structured data through function calling and other AI-driven workflows.
  • Implement systems that ensure AI outputs are traceable and reliable.
  • Develop and optimize data models in Postgres/Prisma (with optional analytics layers such as ClickHouse).
  • Build secure, multi-tenant features with Role-Based Access Control (RBAC)/Attribute-Based Access Control (ABAC) and audit logging.
  • Support embeddings and vector search for intelligent free-text queries.
  • Optimize pipelines for performance, scalability, and cost efficiency.

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in backend development.
  • Strong skills in Node.js/NestJS (or similar frameworks).
  • Proficiency in REST & GraphQL API design.
  • Experience with databases such as Postgres (Prisma or TypeORM).
  • Familiarity with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.) and AI/ML workflows.
  • Understanding of event-driven systems (SQS/Kafka/NATS).
  • Knowledge of security and compliance best practices (OAuth 2.0, multi-tenant systems, audit logs).
  • Strong communication skills and ability to thrive in a remote, international team.
