Software Testing Consultant

This is a highly skilled and experienced software testing consultant position in the field of Business Intelligence. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software testing, including experience with end-to-end testing of ETL processes for data warehouses.

About this Role
  • This role involves contributing to project-wide test strategies and plans;
  • Creating and executing comprehensive test cases using automation techniques;
  • Building and maintaining automation scripts and frameworks;
  • Working collaboratively with other testers, developers, and stakeholders;
  • Identifying opportunities for process improvements;
  • Mentoring junior team members;
  • Providing domain expertise and recommending product improvements;
  • Conducting design reviews and evaluating application behavior.
Requirements
  1. Bachelors/Masters degree in Computer Science or related field;
  2. At least 3.5 years of experience in software testing, specifically in the Business Intelligence domain;
  3. Strong understanding of Big Data technologies (Spark, Databricks, Redshift, etc.);
  4. Experience with DevOps/CICD/Jenkins and automation tools (Selenium, Java/Python, etc.);
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail;
  6. Familiarity with SQL and ability to develop expected results;
  7. Effective communication and teamwork skills;
  8. Ability to learn new domains and adapt to changing priorities.
