Job Opportunity

We are seeking a semi-qualified Chartered Accountant with experience in Statutory Audit to fill a challenging role.

The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of statutory audit procedures and standards, as well as expertise in IGAAP, IND AS, and their practical application.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing audit planning documentation addressing scope, audit objective, resource plan, and reporting date.
  • Successfully completing assigned audits, addressing all audit objectives, conducting client meetings as required, controlling, monitoring, and reporting on audit progress, reviewing work papers, and ensuring work papers provide adequate support of conclusions while complying with internal standards for documentation.
  • Monitoring the assignment for improving the efficiency of the assignment, managing audit in relation to time and resource budget.
  • Gathering and compiling information and data.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including good presentation and report-writing skills.
  • Developing and maintaining strong relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Providing recommendations for strengthening controls.
  • Ability to deal well with ambiguity and constant change as well as working independently.

Requirements:

  • A solid understanding of INDAS, and the Companies Act.
  • The ability to think conceptually, visualize different scenarios, and decide based on analysis and logical reasoning.
