ABAP Developer Job Description

We are seeking an experienced ABAP developer to join our team.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of modern ABAP development paradigms and a proven track record in implementing solutions using Core ABAP and Object-Oriented ABAP (OOABAP).

  • Develop and implement solutions using ABAP Managed Database Procedures, OData, CDS Views, and the ABAP RESTful Application Programming model.
  • Lead or actively contribute to S/4HANA implementation and migration projects.
  • Utilize the SAP Enhancement Framework to implement custom enhancements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong hands-on experience with modern ABAP development paradigms such as OData, CDS Views, AMDP, and the ABAP RAP model.
  • Extensive knowledge of SAP Dictionary objects including Tables, Fields, Domains, and Search Helps.
  • Proficiency in developing user interfaces and functionalities using Dialog Programming, Smart Forms, SAP Script, and User Exits.
  • Experience working extensively with SAP integration technologies including BADIs, Data Interfaces, RFCs, ALE, ALV, IDocs, BDC, BA PI, and Web-UI.
  • Ability to analyze and optimize ABAP code for performance using tools like SQL Trace and SAP Runtime Analysis.
