About the Role
The Senior Storage Administrator Expert will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing complex storage systems for our clients. This includes ensuring the availability, performance, and security of storage infrastructure, as well as providing expert-level support and guidance to internal teams and clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement scalable storage solutions that meet business requirements
- Configure and manage SAN fabrics and host-to-SAN connectivity
- Monitor and troubleshoot storage-related issues
- Develop and maintain ITIL-compliant incident, problem, and change management processes
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless service delivery
- Lead and participate in change release management and CAB/Tab activities
- Document and communicate technical knowledge and best practices
- Prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Minimum 6 years of experience in storage administration, with expertise in EMC VNX, CLARiiON, VMAX, DMX, VPLEX, and NetApp storage systems
- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills
- Strong understanding of NAS protocols (CIFS and NFS) and ability to configure and manage them
- Proficiency in using ticketing systems (Service Center) for daily operations
- Ability to work effectively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications
- Mastery of IBM Flash 8xx and Dell/Hitachi environments
- Experience with storage project planning, implementation, and management
- Knowledge of cloud-based storage solutions and migration strategies
