Bakery Specialist

We are seeking an accomplished Pastry Cook to join our culinary team in a dynamic and engaging role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing a diverse range of pastry and dessert menu items according to established recipes and guidelines.

Duties will include:

• Preparing and presenting high-quality pastry and dessert items
• Setting up visually appealing displays on buffets
• Transporting food items from storage areas to the designated production zone
• Cleaning and sanitizing all working areas and utensils
• Participating in early standby rotations to ensure smooth operations

Working closely with the Pastry Chef Tournant, you will be assigned a specific station in the pastry galley and will be entrusted with overseeing certain aspects of pastry and dessert production.

To succeed in this position, candidates should possess:

• A minimum of two years' experience as a Pastry Cook in upscale environments, including hotels, resorts, cruise ships, or convention banquet services
• Proven knowledge of proper cleaning techniques, equipment operation, and safety protocols
• Completion of secondary education or equivalent qualification
