Lead Software Quality Assurance Manager

\

We are seeking a seasoned Lead Software Quality Assurance Manager to oversee our QA function and help us scale further.

\

In this key role, you will be responsible for leading and mentoring the QA team, defining quality standards and best practices. You will design and implement test automation strategies for regression and performance testing, establish and maintain QA processes across Web, Mobile, Backend, and Infrastructure, and collaborate with product and development teams to integrate quality into every stage of development.

\

Your success in this position will be measured by your ability to drive continuous improvement in testing methodologies and processes, manage test environments and coordinate testing activities across platforms, create and maintain detailed test documentation and reporting, and mentor junior QA engineers and help grow the QA function.

  • \
  • MSc/BSc in a STEM field or equivalent professional experience\
  • 5+ years in QA, with at least 2 years in a leadership role\
  • Hands-on experience with automation tools: Playwright, Selenium, BrowserStack\
  • Strong programming skills in Python and TypeScript\
  • Experience testing Web, Mobile, and Backend\
  • Performance testing experience (JMeter, K6, or similar)\
  • Solid understanding of Git, CI/CD pipelines, API testing, and database testing\
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally\
  • Experience working in startups and remote teams\
  • Self-driven, organized, and proactive\
  • Infrastructure testing experience (Kubernetes, Docker)\
  • Mobile automation testing expertise\
  • Familiarity with monitoring and observability tools\
  • Load and stress testing experience\
  • Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies\
  • Experience with test management tools\
  • Understanding of security testing practices\
  • Database knowledge (PostgreSQL, MongoDB)\
  • Cloud platform experience\
  • A strong understanding of software development life cycles\
  • Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously\
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and analytical thinking\
  • Collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a remote team\
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies and processes\
  • Results-oriented and driven to achieve high-quality results\
  • Passion for technology and staying up-to-date with industry trends\
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment\
