Job Title: Digital Engineering Sr. Staff Lead

 

About the Role

 

The role of a Digital Engineering Sr. Staff Lead is to lead and mentor a team of skilled professionals in designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge cloud infrastructure solutions.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Design, develop, and maintain Terraform configurations for GCP infrastructure provisioning and management.
  • Collaborate with Data Engineers and Architects to ensure cloud resources meet data processing, security, and scalability requirements.
  • Work closely with the Security team to ensure all infrastructure and services are compliant with organizational and regulatory standards.
  • Monitor and optimize GCP costs, implementing guardrails and usage patterns to keep spending under control.
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments.
  • Enable observability and monitoring across services (e.g., Cloud Monitoring, Logging, and custom alerts).
  • Ensure GCP projects follow IAM best practices, cost optimization, and security standards.
  • Troubleshoot issues and lead performance improvements across the platform.

 

Requirements

 

  • 12+ years of overall operational experience.
  • 7+ years of GCP/Azure experience.
  • 4+ years of experience working in a diverse cloud support environment in a 24.7 production support model.
  • 3+ years DevOps/scripting/APIs experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications

 

  • GCP Solutions Architect Professional Certification.
  • Azure Solutions Architect Professional Certification.
  • Four Year BS/BA in Information Technology degree or equivalent experience.
