About the Role

This position plays a crucial role in ensuring financial accounting activities are executed efficiently for customers in North America and EMEA Regions. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with the Plant Controller to guarantee that all RTR activities are performed accurately and on time.

Main Responsibilities
  • Process Centric - Develop a thorough understanding of financial reporting and processes (RTR, OTC & PTP), with a focus on managing Intercompany accounting. Ensure timely and accurate book close: monthly, quarterly, and year-end.
  • Control & Compliance – Foster a culture of zero gaps by proactively identifying and remediating risks in the process. Comply with Eaton's Financial Policies, US GAAP, and Local GAAP, as well as controls defined by Eaton's Internal Control Program Office, including SOX.
  • Collaboration - Collaborate with stakeholders to support overall goals and objectives. Work closely with Plant Finance/Division Controller/Controllership Team, Global Process Leaders, and other teams to drive cross-functional initiatives contributing to ultimate Eaton Goals.
  • Quality Culture: Drive and leverage various systems and tools to automate processes and improve quality. Encourage use of quality tools.
  • Process Standardization: Regular review of existing controls and governance of standard processes to ensure alignment with global SSC processes.
  • Continuous Improvement- Demonstrate a practical approach to continuous improvement of processes directly managing service delivery. Improve formalized standards and procedures in using new technologies and facilitate others in learning new technologies.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Accounting Degree (CA) or MBA-Finance with majors in accounting/finance.
  • 7-9 years of relevant experience, mainly in people management.
  • End-to-end process knowledge for GL/FA and good understanding of OTC and PTP encompassing overall accounting as the area.
  • Good experience of Oracle or SAP ERP.
  • Knowledge of U.S. GAAP.
  • Exposure to SOX and similar regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, written, and oral English communication skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across boundaries/business lines.
  • Should have an exposure to manage a team for at least 8-10 team members.
