Job Opportunity:

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Systems Engineer to provide technical expertise in hardware and software support. This role is critical to the success of our organization, and we are looking for someone who can make a meaningful contribution.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and maintain operating systems and associated software products to ensure seamless functionality.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and implement data processing software initiatives.
  • Provide technical assistance to development programmers and customers to resolve complex issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest developments in computer software and hardware technology to remain competitive.
  • Document processes and procedures to facilitate knowledge sharing and continuity.
  • SUPPORT BUSINESS CONTINUITY INITIATIVES.
  • Lead training initiatives for data center staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience and formal training/education.
  • Years of experience in systems administration with a proven track record of success.
  • Extensive knowledge of operating systems, infrastructure software, communications, computer hardware, and peripherals.
  • Strong command of multi-platform OS, communication software, and hardware.

Essential Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with stakeholders.
  • Ability to analyze problems quickly and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to identify opportunities for automation and develop scripts to streamline processes.
  • Solid understanding of operating system fundamentals and system performance optimization.
  • Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.
