Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Cyber Security Analyst with expertise in automation workflows, custom integrations, and security operations.

This is a dynamic role where you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining playbooks and automation workflows in Palo Alto Cortex XSOAR or similar platforms.

You will work on creating and enhancing custom integrations using Python programming language, collaborating with the Security Operations Center (SOC), Security Information and Event Management (SIEM), and endpoint teams to understand requirements and translate them into automated solutions.

Your key responsibilities will include optimizing and streamlining security processes through automation techniques, providing support in deploying, testing, and troubleshooting automation workflows, and continuously exploring new endpoint protection techniques and integrating them into automation where relevant.

Documentation of automation workflows, custom scripts, and best practices will be an essential part of this role.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you must have proven hands-on experience with Cortex XSOAR or similar Security Orchestration, Automation, and Response (SOAR) platforms.

Strong programming skills in Python for creating scripts and integrations are also required.

Experience in building and maintaining custom integrations with various technologies is necessary.

In addition, you must have enthusiasm about learning and applying endpoint protection concepts and technologies.

A good understanding of SIEM concepts, including log sources, use cases, correlation rules, and incident response, is also essential.

Familiarity with security operations processes, such as alert triage, enrichment, and remediation, is required.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous experience working with SIEM platforms, such as XSIAM, QRadar, Splunk, etc. would be beneficial.

Knowledge of APIs, REST, and JSON for integration development is also preferred.

Exposure to security frameworks, such as MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, etc. would be advantageous.

Soft Skills

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities are essential for success in this role.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills are also necessary.

Eagerness to learn, adapt, and contribute in a fast-paced environment is a must.
