Technical Project Manager

Job Description:

We are seeking a seasoned Technical Project Manager to oversee the end-to-end execution of custom application development and integration projects.

This role involves managing cross-functional teams, including developers, QA, UI/UX, and DevOps, to ensure smooth project delivery.

The successful candidate will have extensive experience in project planning, schedule management, and risk mitigation.

Key responsibilities include creating project plans, defining timelines, identifying dependencies, and tracking progress.

The ideal candidate will be able to work closely with architects and leads to ensure alignment with technical direction and design.

  • Main Responsibilities:
  • Lead the project team to deliver high-quality software solutions on time and within budget
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, resource allocation, and risk management plans
  • Coordinate with stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and internal teams, to ensure effective communication and issue resolution
Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Technical Expertise:
  • Strong understanding of custom application development on Java/.NET stacks
  • Experience managing backend/API development, integration using tools like Apache Camel, IBM Integration Stack, database interactions (Oracle, SQL Server), client-side development using React/Angular, and deployment on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure)
  • Familiarity with Microservices architecture, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices
  • Project Management:
  • Expertise in schedule planning, effort estimation, dependency tracking, and delivery monitoring
  • Hands-on experience in scope and schedule change management, stakeholder communication, and issue escalation
  • Proficiency in project management tools, such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Git, Jenkins, or equivalent
