Automated Quality Assurance Engineering Role

The company seeks a skilled Automated Quality Assurance Engineer to play a pivotal role in multiple financial product platforms.

  • Test software system versions using automated testing tools, including functional, user acceptance testing (UAT), performance, and regression testing on trading and financial applications.
  • Create, maintain, and update test cases and regression scripts based on business requirements.
  • Manage software issues and test activities throughout the development lifecycle.
  • Attend project meetings to discuss issues and report on testing status.
  • Follow quality assurance standards and policies.
  • Provide estimates for QA management to produce accurate schedules.
  • Support Product Management in testing business scenarios and verifying functionality.
  • Manage application versions and facilitate version upgrades in all environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in science or engineering.
  • 3+ years of general Quality Assurance experience with complex trading and/or risk management systems in the financial industry.
  • 2+ years of experience working with OpenText Unified Functional Testing (UFT).

Technical Expertise:

  • In-depth knowledge of UFT and experience with bug tracking software and Test Case Management Tools.
  • Ability to design, code, and document automated test cases within a defined framework.
  • Knowledge of financial products, such as FX, Rates, Credit, Commodities, etc.
  • Experience with programming languages like Java, C#, C++ is a plus.
