Job Title:

Site Security Supervisor

Key Responsibilities
  • Carry out daily checks of security documents, visitor management, and material inward & outward movement at the site or residential complex.
  • Protect company assets from physical damage, theft, pilferage, encroachment of land/site, and ensure the security of company associates at all times.
  • Optimize use of security technology to monitor the premises and identify risks such as theft, crime, and safety violations/incidents.
  • Conduct patrols of the assigned site/area, traffic management, and report security observations or incidents to the supervisor with due investigations & supporting evidence.
  • Undertake surprise checks on orders and on own initiative at least twice a week in various stores, offices, and labor camp areas to check mis-appropriation and enforce correct accounting of stores and adherence to security procedures.
  • Verify daily deployment of security guards and report abnormalities in deployment or state of alertness among security supervisors and guards.
  • Supervise and conduct training for on-roll and outsourced staff and undertake periodic checks of state of readiness and alertness for potential emergency situations.
  • Establish an intelligence network comprising sources or informants and maintain regular liaison with local police and civic governance staff.
Additional Responsibilities
  • Maintain security registers, reports, and returns including a record of incidents and security reports on an ongoing basis.
  • Generate proper, detailed incident reports and Management Information System (MIS) at stipulated frequency.
Skills & Qualifications

Required skills include good computer skills, the ability to operate and manage systems, tools, and processes. Relevant fire safety training/certification is essential.

At least 5-10 years of experience in security, with at least 2 years in a supervisory/executive role, is required.
