We are seeking an experienced Automation Architect to lead our test automation strategy and enhance quality engineering practices.

  • Define the overall test automation strategy aligned with our development and release goals.
  • Architect and implement scalable, reusable, and maintainable test automation frameworks (hybrid, data-driven, keyword-driven, and BDD).
  • Evaluate and recommend best-fit automation tools and technologies across the stack (UI, API, database, ERP, etc.).
  • Develop automation suites across layers : UI (Web/Mobile), API (REST/SOAP), Backend/Database, and ERP systems (e.g., SAP).
  • Integrate automated test scripts with CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, etc.) to enable continuous testing.
  • Ensure comprehensive test coverage through modular and data-driven test approaches.

Key Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with QA, Development, DevOps, Product, and Business teams to align testing strategy with delivery goals.

- Participate in architectural discussions and product planning sessions to embed quality from the start.

- Drive shift-left testing initiatives and advocate for automation in early SDLC phases.

- Implement test data management solutions, service virtualization, and intelligent test orchestration.

- Explore and integrate modern automation techniques like AI/ML-based test optimization, self-healing scripts, and hyper-automation.

- Lead Proof of Concepts (PoCs) for emerging tools and technologies.

Technical Skills Required :

  • - Java, Python, JavaScript, or C#
  • - Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Katalon, REST Assured, Postman
  • - Jenkins, GitLab CI, Azure DevOps, Docker, Kubernetes
  • - TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber (BDD), Robot Framework
  • - SAP, Oracle EBS, Workday, or similar systems
  • - JMeter, LoadRunner, Gatling
  • - AWS, Azure, or GCP (for test environment management or cloud-based test execution)
  • - Git, Bitbucket, Jira, Confluence

Bonus Points :

- Knowledge of Agile methodologies and Scrum principles.

- Experience with DevOps tools like Ansible, Puppet, or Chef.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP.

- Proficiency in script languages like Python, JavaScript, or Ruby.
