Job Title: Director of Quality Assurance

Job Description:

The Director of Quality Assurance will oversee the entire quality assurance process, ensuring the highest standards are met for all applications and data. This individual will manage and refine our software quality practices, define key metrics, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to guarantee seamless system functionality.

This role involves strategic leadership, process development, automation adoption, and collaboration with various departments. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing the QA strategy, establishing quality standards, and championing Agile and DevOps practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the QA strategy, aligned with business goals, to ensure overall quality excellence.
  • Process Development: Establish robust QA processes, including test planning, execution, automation, and reporting, to drive efficiency and coverage.
  • Automation Adoption: Drive the adoption of test automation frameworks and tools, focusing on scalability and innovation, to streamline processes.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Product Management, Engineering, and Operations to embed quality throughout the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in quality assurance.
  • Strong understanding of application, data, and API testing.
  • Experience with Agile, Scrum, SAFe methodologies, and automated testing tools like Selenium.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
