As a Software Development Director, you'll be responsible for leading a team of engineers in designing, developing, testing, and deploying platform software. Your experience in managing talented engineering teams, working with cross-functional teams, and productizing new hardware is essential. If you have a proven track record in leading/managing networking product development and prior experience with hardware development, you'll have a big advantage.

About the Role:
  • Oversee the entire product development lifecycle, including customer support.
  • Manage project plans and delivery commitments, ensuring timely execution.
  • Maintain productive engagement with the engineering team, handling day-to-day activities.
  • Manage departmental resources, staffing, mentoring, and enhancing global engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with engineers and other managers to architect and develop technical designs and approaches.
  • Report on development, quality, operations, and system performance to senior management.
