Job Title

We are seeking a seasoned Platform Engineering Leader to spearhead our platform engineering efforts. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, possesses excellent technical skills, and has the ability to lead a team of talented engineers.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing robust, scalable platform modules, ensuring alignment with business objectives and technical standards. They will drive the implementation of platform solutions, collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, and mentor junior engineers to foster growth and continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
  • Design and implement robust, scalable platform modules

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Expertise in Python programming
  • Proven experience in serverless application development
  • Demonstrated experience in building high-quality SaaS platforms/applications on AWS
  • Comprehensive understanding of cloud computing concepts and AWS architectural best practices
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Previous experience leading technology design and engineering teams
Preferred Requirements

We also welcome candidates with:

  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Developer certification
  • Experience with the AWS Boto3 SDK for Python
  • Exposure to other cloud platforms such as Azure or GCP
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration technologies
Qualifications

You must have:

  • Total Experience: 8+ years of experience in Software or Platform Engineering
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in roles directly relevant to platform development & team leadership
  • Minimum 4 years of experience in developing applications with Python
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in serverless application development
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in building event-driven architectures
Education

A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required.
