Design Engineer Role

This position involves working on the design of Refrigeration & Air Conditioning products. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing products that meet efficiency, safety, and environmental regulations.

  • The role requires the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams to move products from design to manufacturing.
  • A strong understanding of design methodologies and techniques is essential, particularly in sheet metal and plastics.
  • Expertise in SolarEdge/Teamcenter software is a must, as well as experience in PLM (SAP, Teamcenter).
  • Excellent communication skills are required, both written and oral.
  • Familiarity with refrigeration knowledge is an asset.

Requirements

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
  • Experience in tooling and fixtures, as well as advanced detailing and redrawing, is necessary.
  • The ability to drive design activities with limited supervision is crucial.
