Job Description:

We're seeking a highly skilled Senior QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our agile project teams, you'll play a crucial role in ensuring quality is driven into the heart of our development process, from requirements definition through to delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and support frameworks for our test infrastructure, providing automation expertise to our development teams.
  • Contribute toward predictable delivery of quality release, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless collaboration.
  • Research, recommend, and implement tools as needed to increase automation, with a focus on improving efficiency and reducing manual testing efforts.
  • Mentor team members on Automation frameworks, sharing your expertise and knowledge to enhance their skills.
  • Proactively identify issues and problems, generating innovative solutions to address them and drive continuous improvement.
  • Ensure meticulous documentation and maintain a robust log of all test cases and test results, facilitating transparency and traceability.
  • Regularly provide feedback to the team lead on the status of quality, ensuring that all tests are executed and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Utilize appropriate measures and KPIs to validate and report on software quality, providing actionable insights to inform decision-making.

Required Qualifications:

  • B. Tech. / MCA / M. Tech (16+ years of formal education)
  • 7+ years with a solid technical background and 4+ years of experience working on automation using Selenium/Cypress/Playwright/WebDriverIO with JavaScript.
  • Hands-on coding experience in any programming language Core Java,/Python
  • Experience working with the CI/CD and DevOps goal/initiatives
  • Proficient working with relational databases such as MySQL, Oracle, SQL Server, etc.
  • Solid working knowledge of ATDD/BDD
  • Knowledge on Maven, Jenkins, GitHub, Actions, Docker, SauceLabs
  • Thorough understanding of SDLC, specifically automated QA processes in Agile development environments
