About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Engineer to lead the design, development, and optimization of our Kubernetes-based IDP.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams across the globe to architect an automated, repeatable migration pipeline for transitioning applications to Kubernetes.

Your responsibilities will include developing automation for Kubernetes cluster lifecycle management, defining and tracking SLIs/SLOs for critical platform components, and collaborating with development teams to build platform capabilities.

You will also conduct capacity planning and performance testing to ensure platform scalability, actively participate in pairing, code reviews, unit testing, and secure deployments to deliver secure and quality code.

Additionally, you will stay updated on the latest Kubernetes and platform engineering trends and apply them to solve complex challenges.

Requirements:

  • 6-8 years' experience in software engineering
  • Expertise in Kubernetes and containerization
  • Strong understanding of cloud infrastructure and architecture
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills
  • Ability to mentor and train junior team members
