Senior Laboratory Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Research and Development Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out experiments, collecting and documenting data, and operating laboratory equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out experiments and tests according to R&D project plans, protocols, and instructions from researchers or scientists.
• Record and document data and observations from experiments, ensuring accuracy and consistency.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and instruments, ensuring they are calibrated and functioning correctly.
• Prepare samples for analysis, testing, or experimentation, following specific procedures and protocols.
• Implement quality control processes to ensure that experiments and tests meet accuracy and precision standards.
• Perform basic data analysis, such as data entry, data cleaning, and basic statistical analysis, to support researchers' efforts.
• Assist in the preparation of reports and summaries of research findings, including charts, graphs, and visuals.
• Manage laboratory supplies, chemicals, and materials, ensuring adequate stock levels and proper storage.
• Adhere to safety protocols and practices, including the handling of hazardous materials and the use of personal protective equipment.
