Job Overview

As a skilled SAP Datasphere professional, you will play a pivotal role in designing and developing enterprise-level data management and analytics solutions.

You will be responsible for creating scalable and secure data pipelines and models, integrating SAP Datasphere with BW/4HANA, SAC, and other data sources to drive business growth and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Architect and Integrate Solutions: Design data pipelines and integrations within SAP Datasphere and associated SAP environments.
  • Data Modeling & Pipelines: Build logical and physical data models, replication flows, ETL processes, and task chains to ensure seamless data flow.
  • API & Third-party Integration: Connect SAP and non-SAP systems, develop APIs, and deliver datasets to BI platforms to enhance decision-making capabilities.
  • Migration & Lifecycle Management: Handle content and version control across development, test, and production systems using SAP BW Bridge to maintain data integrity.
  • Performance Monitoring: Optimize model and query performance, monitor data flows, and ensure reliability to minimize downtime.
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with SAP Datasphere in multiple end-to-end implementations is essential.
  • Strong Data Modeling Skills: Proficiency in SQL, CDS, graph, and replication, ETL, task chains is crucial for success.
  • Security Design: Expertise in roles, scopes, cataloging, and security best practices is vital for ensuring data protection.
  • Integration & Scripting: Experience integrating SAP Datasphere with SAC, external APIs, and scripting languages (SQL, Python, JavaScript) is highly valued.
  • Domain Knowledge: Familiarity with SAP ECC or S/4HANA modules (e.g., Finance, SCM, Sales) is beneficial for driving business outcomes.

Education & Experience: A bachelor's or master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, along with minimum 7 years of experience in SAP BW/HANA analytics and at least 2 years of SAP Datasphere-focused project work.
