Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced full stack developer to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing new user-facing features using React.

Responsibilities:

  • Designing and implementing new user-facing features using React
  • Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
  • Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
  • Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
  • Training and mentoring peers on code best practices

Required Skills and Qualifications:

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to have the following skills and qualifications:

  • University degree in Engineering or equivalent preferred
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
  • Thorough understanding of React and its core principles
  • Experience with popular React workflows such as Flux or Redux
  • Familiarity with newer specifications of ECMAScript
  • Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
  • Experience with data structure libraries e.g. Immutable js
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs
  • Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms such as JSON Web Token
  • Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
  • Familiarity with code versioning tools such as Git SVN
  • A knack for benchmarking and optimization
