Cloud Infrastructure Professional Role

The Digital and Technology team is the largest unit, dedicated to exploring trends and innovations in technology while leading the adoption of cutting-edge technologies across the organization.

This role involves developing technical service roadmaps with Product Owners, Architects, and Delivery teams. You will develop provisioning processes for Data Lake resources that follow Core Public Cloud Principles, including IaaS and PaaS.

Auditable infrastructure, software, and data deployment processes are developed using IaC principal. The position requires collaboration to provide technical direction on architecting, designing, building, and deploying cloud solutions for Enterprise Applications and Data and Analytics teams.

Complex problems are solved through understanding dependencies in both platform and software products. Contribution to product milestones occurs by solving complex problems.

Cyber Security processes are developed, including logging, audit, and governance processes. New cloud capabilities, applications, software tools, and vendor relationships are evaluated to enable collaboration on the overall technology roadmap.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 5+ years of relevant IT Infrastructure DevOps experience with 3+ years of experience with designing and implementing cloud infrastructure.
  • Automation-first mindset.
  • Experience working with infrastructure as code, such as Terraform or equivalent.
  • Proficiency in building enabling cloud services using IaC tool Terraform.
  • Experience with GCP Big Query, Snowflake, and MaxCompute.
  • Strong knowledge of cloud security practices and Cloud IAM Policy.
  • Expertise in deployment, building, scanning, and monitoring of infrastructure in Cloud (GCP, Azure, AWS, or Ali Cloud).
  • Experience with agile techniques and methods.
  • Familiarity with user expectations for cloud databases to design user-centric engineering services.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • High Availability and Disaster Recovery Processes design and implementation.
  • Working knowledge of DevOps, Agile development processes, exploration, and POCs.
