Project Accounting and Capitalization Manager

As a Project Accounting and Capitalization Manager, you will lead cost control initiatives to ensure overall project expenditure within approved budgets and management reporting on project progress. You will also engage with teams for financial planning, analysis, and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Accounting and Capitalization: Ensuring proper accounting of element-wise and stream-wise project costs, common cost allocation, finalization of transfer pricing for inter-company transactions, and asset capitalization.
  • Project Financing: Partnering with the treasury and banking team for financing at optimized costs.
  • Inventory Management: Continuous monitoring of project inventory, partnering with PMC's/sub-contractors, and inventory reconciliations.
  • Incentive Optimization: Optimization of incentives, representation to government authorities, filing of documents and information as per policy, and system designing in line with incentive policy requirements.
  • Risk Management and Compliance: Identifying and assessing financial risks and developing strategies to mitigate and manage these risks effectively and efficiently, ensuring strict adherence to regulatory compliance.
  • Policies, Processes, and Procedures: Creating standard policies, processes, and procedures that align with business objectives and monitoring their adherence to ensure work is carried out in a controlled manner.
  • People Management: Mentoring and developing respective teams to take larger responsibilities and efficiently perform their roles.
