Senior Cloud Data Architect

We are seeking an accomplished Senior Cloud Data Architect to lead the development of our cloud-based data architecture. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining a scalable and secure data management system.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement cloud-based data architectures that meet business requirements and ensure data security.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that support business growth and innovation.
  • Design and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes that provide insights and drive business decision-making.
  • Implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure data quality, security, and compliance.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and trends in cloud computing and data management to recommend innovative solutions.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • 7+ years of experience in cloud data engineering, architecture, or a related field.
  • Expertise in AWS services, Python, PySpark, and data modeling.
  • Strong knowledge of columnar and NoSQL databases, predictive analytics, data visualization, and unstructured data.
  • Experience working with ETL, data mining, data warehousing, and segmentation techniques.
  • Knowledge of databases (Azure SQL, MS SQL), data lakes (e.g., Azure Data Lake/Delta lakes), processing tools (e.g., Databricks/HDInsight), and BI and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
