We seek a highly skilled financial portfolio analyst to support our hedge fund operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly net asset value (NAV) calculations for portfolios.
  • Perform profit and loss (P&L) reconciliation between fund administrator reports, internal records, and prime broker statements.
  • Carry out cash reconciliation across custodians, banks, and internal systems.
  • Investigate and resolve discrepancies in positions, pricing, fees, and expenses.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, including journal entries and accruals.
  • Assist in performance reporting and investor statements.
  • Coordinate with fund administrators, prime brokers, and custodians to ensure accurate trade settlement and reporting.
  • Collaborate with portfolio managers and risk teams to validate portfolio data and performance metrics.
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. A master's or professional certification like CFA/CPA is advantageous.
  • 2-5 years of experience in fund accounting or hedge fund operations, preferably with exposure to NAV calculation and reconciliation processes.
  • Strong understanding of financial instruments, including equities, derivatives, fixed income, FX, etc.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; knowledge of fund accounting software is beneficial.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
