Job Summary

We're seeking a skilled Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you'll be responsible for creating and executing Test Plans to ensure the proper functioning of software before its release for User Acceptance Testing and prior to its release into the production environment. You'll work closely with Business Solutions Analysts, Solution Developers, and Decision Architects to ensure that the correct functional and technical testing is conducted as per the business requirements.

Responsibilities:

* Develops and implements test plans, working closely with software engineers and the business representatives.
* Performs testing to execute test plans.
* Creates and updates documentation and metrics.
* Reviews and improves QA process.

Requirements:

* Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Information Technology.
* Minimum 3 years of work experience in software quality assurance.
* Ability to write appropriate test plans and cases relative to the function involved.
* Ability to communicate with the business and development teams with good written and verbal skills.
* Understanding of requirements-based testing and the SDLC.
* Defect reporting and tracking.
* Attention to details.
* Familiarity with Azure DevOps/ VSTS/ Jira.
