About the Role:
We are seeking an exceptional Electrification Expert - Power Electronics to lead our development and localization of EV electrical and electronic components. This strategic role demands technical expertise, leadership acumen, and a passion for innovation.

Job Description:
The ideal candidate will oversee the development and localization of EV components, including Battery Management Systems (BMS), Vehicle Control Units (VCU), Power Distribution Units (PDU), and electric motors. This will involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development and localization of EV components, ensuring innovative solutions and adherence to industry standards
• Oversee VCU hardware and software development, focusing on integration with Low Voltage ECUs and clusters like inverters, DC-DC converters, and Brake Control Systems (BCS)
• Drive new product development initiatives for EV components, staying ahead of electrification trends and market demands
• Supervise prototype development and testing to guarantee compliance with design specifications and industry standards
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality assurance teams to align with customer requirements

Requirements:
To succeed in this role, you should possess:

Technical Expertise:

• Comprehensive knowledge of EV electrical and electronic systems, including power electronics, BMS, motor control, and power distribution

Project Management Skills:

• Strong project management skills with a proven track record of leading successful development projects

Regulatory Compliance:

• Deep understanding of vehicle engineering principles, safety standards, and regulatory requirements

Leadership and Communication:

• Ability to manage and mentor a team of 14+ members, fostering innovation and performance excellence
• Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders

Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will have:

Education:
Bachelor's/Master's degree in Technology (B.Tech) in a relevant field

Experience:
14+ years of experience in power electronics and R&D within the EV or commercial vehicle industry

Salary:
$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience
