Job Title: Opcenter Discrete Developer/Expert

We are seeking a highly skilled Opcenter Discrete Developer/Expert with a deep understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES) and hands-on experience with OPC (OLE for Process Control).

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, develop, and configure solutions using Siemens Opcenter Discrete MES.
  • Integrate MES with shop floor systems and automation layers using OPC UA/DA protocols.
  • Lead and support multi-plant MES rollouts, ensuring alignment with operational and business goals.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including production, automation, and IT.
  • Provide post-deployment support, issue resolution, and system optimization.
  • Document technical specifications, configurations, and support procedures.
  • Ensure system reliability, scalability, and compliance with manufacturing standards.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in MES development and deployment.
  • Strong expertise in Siemens Opcenter Discrete and OPC integration.
  • Proven track record of successful MES rollouts across multiple manufacturing sites.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing processes and shop floor operations.
  • Proficiency in SQL, scripting, and system integration.
  • Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and communication skills.
  • Must have a valid passport; business visa to Europe (Denmark) is preferred.
  • Ready to travel as required.
  • Strong communication skills for client interaction.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Familiarity with Industry 4.0, IIoT, and digital manufacturing initiatives.
  • Knowledge of IT/OT integration and cybersecurity in industrial environments.
