Procurement Lead Position

About the Role:

  • This is an exciting opportunity for a seasoned procurement professional to lead end-to-end sourcing projects, driving value, speed, compliance, and risk management.
  • The ideal candidate will collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, develop RFPs/RFXs, and negotiate with suppliers effectively.
  • A strong focus on compliance with controls, audits, and regulatory obligations across sourcing cycles is essential.
  • Responsibilities also include contract remediation, including Data Privacy, OCIR, Data Transfer Agreements, and country-specific terms.
  • Negotiating and overseeing third-party Supplier Control Obligations (SCOs) and supporting stakeholders with vendor engagement risks are critical tasks.
  • This role involves identifying opportunities for process improvements and buying channel optimization, as well as staying ahead of industry trends and sourcing best practices to strengthen category management.

Requirements:

  • We seek a candidate with 8+ years of experience in sourcing/procurement, preferably in technology procurement within financial services.
  • Strong expertise in RFPs, contract negotiations, vendor management, and compliance is necessary.
  • Proven experience in contractual review and redlining is required.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to influence and collaborate across divisions are essential.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and data-driven decision-making skills are necessary.
  • Leadership qualities to set objectives, coach teams, and drive operational effectiveness are required.
