Mobile Application Automation Test Engineer Role

This is a full-time remote position for a highly skilled candidate to join our QA team.

The ideal candidate will design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for both Android and iOS apps. This role requires expertise in Mobile, API testing, web testing, and CI/CD integrations, ensuring end-to-end quality of a food delivery platform.

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using Java-based automation frameworks (Appium, TestNG/JUnit).
  • Execute and manage automation tests across multiple applications simultaneously.
  • Perform API testing to validate backend services and data integrity.
  • Contribute to Web automation testing for admin, restaurant, and partner portals.
  • Run automated tests on Sauce Labs and analyze detailed result reports.
  • Integrate automation scripts into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).
  • Use Docker containers for test environment setup, parallel execution, and scalability.
  • Collaborate with developers, QA, and product teams to define test coverage, ensure feature readiness, and troubleshoot defects.

This role requires the following skills:

  • Strong expertise in Java programming for test automation.
  • Proficiency in automation frameworks (Appium, intelliJ, TestNG, JUnit, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with Mobile Testing (Android & iOS).
  • Experience in API Testing.
  • Knowledge of Web Testing (Selenium/WebDriver).
  • Experience with Docker for scalable test execution.
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 2-4 years of experience in Mobile Automation Testing.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and communication skills.
