About the Position

We are seeking a highly skilled Animator to contribute to the development of innovative casino slot games. The ideal candidate will have in-depth knowledge of After Effects and Spine, with a keen eye for detail, player psychology, and engaging motion design.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design and produce high-quality 2D animations for casino slot games, including reel spins, symbol win effects, free spins, jackpot animations, bonus features, transitions, and cinematic sequences.
  • Animate characters, symbols, and UI elements using Spine for real-time deployment.
  • Create cinematic and VFX sequences using After Effects for polished, impactful visuals.
  • Collaborate with artists, game designers, and developers to ensure animations fit seamlessly into the game environment and meet performance requirements.
  • Optimize animations for performance, memory usage, and smooth gameplay experience.
  • Mentor junior animators, share best practices, and help define animation standards.
  • Stay up to date with animation trends in gaming and continuously push creative boundaries.

Primary Skills (Must-Have)

  • After Effects (advanced motion graphics, compositing, particle systems, expressions).
  • Spine (skeleton rigging, mesh deformation, weights, IK constraints, runtime optimization).

Secondary Skills

  • Adobe Photoshop (asset preparation, sprite sheets, image editing).
  • Adobe Illustrator (vector asset creation and optimization).
  • Adobe Audition (basic sound editing and syncing for animations).

Good to Have

  • Prior experience in Casino Slot Games or iGaming industry.
  • Understanding of player psychology in slots (anticipation, excitement, win hierarchy).
  • Knowledge of Unity or similar game engines for integration.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or diploma in Animation, Fine Arts, Multimedia, or related field.
