We are seeking a Manual QA Tester to ensure our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability.

The ideal candidate will focus on functional and regression testing across various platforms, working closely with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities include:

  • Performing manual functional testing of web and mobile applications
  • Executing and maintaining test cases, test plans, and test scenarios based on requirements
  • Validating bug fixes, tracking issues in the bug tracking system, and ensuring they are resolved
  • Conducting regression testing to ensure existing functionality remains stable
  • Collaborating with developers and product owners to clarify requirements and acceptance criteria
  • Ensuring that defects are reported clearly, including steps to reproduce and an impact analysis
  • Participating in sprint ceremonies (planning, review, retrospective) to align testing with delivery timelines
  • Supporting UAT (User Acceptance Testing) with clients and stakeholders

Performance metrics for this role include:

  • Defect Detection Rate: 95% or higher of critical issues identified before release
  • Defect Leakage: 5% or lower of high-severity issues reported post-release
  • Test Coverage: 90% or higher of functional requirements validated per sprint
  • Bug Closure Rate: 90% or higher of reported bugs resolved within committed sprint
Requirements:
  • 2-4 years of experience in manual QA testing for SaaS or enterprise platforms
  • Strong understanding of functional, regression, and exploratory testing
  • Hands-on experience with bug tracking tools
  • Ability to write clear and structured test cases
  • Strong communication and documentation skills
