Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled ELK Observability Engineer to join our team at Coders Brain Technology Pvt. Ltd. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and managing observability solutions using the ELK stack (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana). You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure our systems are monitored effectively, enabling proactive identification and resolution of issues, and contributing to the overall reliability and performance of our services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and Implementation: Design, implement, and maintain observability solutions using the ELK stack.
  • Log Management: Set up and manage Logstash pipelines to collect, process, and store logs from various sources. Optimize Elasticsearch for performance, scale, and high availability.
  • Monitoring and Alerts: Implement monitoring solutions to track the health and performance of infrastructure and applications. Configure alerts to notify relevant teams of critical issues, enabling timely responses.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with DevOps, engineering, and operations teams to ensure observability solutions meet the needs of the organization. Provide guidance and support to development teams on best practices for logging and monitoring.
  • Troubleshooting and Optimization: Investigate and resolve issues related to logging, monitoring, and Elasticsearch performance. Continuously improve the observability stack to meet evolving business and technical needs.
  • Documentation: Document observability solutions, processes, and best practices. Provide training and knowledge sharing sessions to other teams.
Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in a similar role, with hands-on experience with the ELK stack. Proven experience in designing, implementing, and managing observability solutions. Strong experience with Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, and Beats. Experience with other monitoring and observability tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog) is a plus.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Shell Scripting) for automation tasks. Deep understanding of log management, indexing, and search optimization. Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes). Familiarity with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) and their observability tools.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
